The mock exam playbook: rehearse your way to a first-time pass

A practical three-week schedule built from what our highest scorers actually do — not study folklore.

Here is the exact rehearsal plan we see behind most first-time passes on INSUQ. It takes three weeks, about twenty minutes a day, and no talent whatsoever.

01Week 1 — coverage

Work through every category once. Don't chase high scores yet; chase exposure. Your only goal is a complete map of what you know and what you don't. Flag everything shaky — INSUQ's weak-area tracker does this automatically.

Nerves are a skill problem: rehearse the format, the clock and the pacing, and they largely disappear.

02Week 2 — targeted repair

Fifteen minutes daily on your flagged areas, plus one full timed mock every other day. Review every wrong answer until you can explain the rule back in your own words — this is where Toby, the AI tutor, earns its keep.

03Week 3 — exam conditions

One timed mock daily, at the same time of day as your real exam. No pausing, no second screens. After each, ten minutes reviewing mistakes. You're not learning new material this week; you're rehearsing performance.

04The green light

Five consecutive mocks above 85% means you're statistically ready — book the test with confidence. Below that, give it another week of targeted repair. A €15 rebooking fee is more expensive than seven more days of practice.

Key takeaways
  • Week 1: full coverage, flag everything shaky
  • Week 2: weak areas daily + mock every other day
  • Week 3: one timed mock daily, exam conditions
  • Green light: five straight mocks above 85%
